How To Make Yourself Get To Sleep Right Away

Sleep’s a big deal, right? Body needs it, sanity, all that jazz. I’ll get into a video later about some of the hacks you can do. A lot of people say that they have a hard time getting to sleep right away. I forget which article said it, but a research was done, and it appears that the average American falls asleep in about seven minutes.

Of course, we all exaggerate a little bit and probably bring that number up to 30 or an hour, and sometimes we have those nights. However, I would say that my time to sleep is even shorter than that, and for a couple reasons that you can use to help shorten your time to sleep also, one of which is if you’re staying up and having a hard time going to sleep, it’s because there’s something on your mind and your brain is just trying to help you solve it. It’s being a good brain.

Treat your brain right so it’ll treat you right. Keep a pen, a piece of paper, or use the recording function on your smartphone or apps, and record down whatever you’re thinking about that time, and promise to yourself that you’ll address it sometime tomorrow before 7 p.m. or something. Put a time on it. Or maybe a couple days later. No, you better you do it the next day. That brain can be tricky sometimes.

Just promise, and say, “Hey, I am going to address this problem about baby back ribs not being readily available for all the fine people of America, and I will do this before noon tomorrow.” That’s it. Any time you think about it . . . You shouldn’t be thinking about it, but any time you do, you can rest assured knowing that hey, I’ve already addressed this, I’ve got a time to do it, I promise myself I’m going to do it.

Going to take some practice, but you will eventually not let those little things bug you. The worldwide baby back ribs shortage and availability issue will no longer be an issue. Oops.

The second thing to do is use self-guided or self-talk hypnosis type programs. I got a couple on my YouTube channel here where it attempts to slow you down and get you relaxed and then give you some good messages. The ones I have have no end, tone, or sequence or anything, so you can just drift off.

Man, I’ll be doggoned if I don’t just drift off after the first minute or two, depending on what I’m trying to do. Try those out too. I’d link them, but YouTube doesn’t do that any more. I guess I can in the description. Anyway, check them out.

Remember, treat your brain right, address those thoughts, or just hypnotize yourself to a nice, beautiful slumber, and you will have no problem getting to sleep right away. Little bit of practice, but a lot of love for your brain. Bye.
