How To Go Full Bore, Test Ideas, And Produce Good Content

I was just talking to a buddy about being productive but trying to be on focus. I have a goal and a plan, and I’ve been doing well at it, of producing four to five videos daily on an array of topics that are somehow related to things I’m interested in and things I want to test.

Or audio / podcast it up if you prefer:

What I forgot to mention, and I’m mentioning now I guess just to get it off my head and have it as a record in a video that might be useful to you all, is that it’s hard to tell what people really want until you do whatever research you can. Until you actually make something for people to consume or to appreciate, you’ll never really know until you have that objective data.

If I have a ton of topics that I want to at least judge visibility and interest in, and I eventually have a plan of creating more video content, more audio content, this format that people like to consume, shouldn’t I create YouTube videos that are related to each one of those topics, put them all out there, and then after a month, two months, some number of months time, see which ones have actually gained some traction and attention?

Or I can pick one, go full bore on it, and not really know, and then three or four months later, realize, “Hey, I wasted my time,” or I didn’t waste it. I learned a lot of things along the way.

Part of what you can do in the same arena of testing a whole bunch of ideas you have is going full bore and doing something that gets a whole bunch of little feelers out there, and see where the bites are at. Do what’s interesting to you. Don’t just start blogging about your cat and what you had for dinner and how many times you brush your teeth a day, unless of course you have a toothbrush you’re trying to sell. I think you get my drift.

Test safely, and produce content while you’re at it that just might help people. It’s not a matter of win and lose. It’s a matter of win, win, and how many more wins you can put on top of there for everyone.

So there, I got it off my chest. Maybe it was useful for you. Have a good one. Make some videos, make some audios, make some posts, make some useful stuff in the world, and share it. We want to know. Bye.
