How to Stop Habits, Negative Thinking, Anxiety, & Lack of Confidence

Dealing with negative thoughts and emotions can be tough. Sometimes we need an extra little tool to help us when we’re having trouble. That’s what I have for you here today.

This isn’t the end-all be-all when it comes to ending panic attacks and social anxiety, but it will help with the smaller things that happen around these subjects.

What do I mean? I mean, don’t change the advice (or medicine) your doctor / therapist / counselor gave you, but DO add this little quick tip to your toolbox.

The next time you’re having a funky thought just start up in your head, just notice it, stop for a second, and say,

“DELETE DELETE” or “CANCEL CANCEL.”

Say it inside your head so you don’t scare people away. :) I tip my hat to T. Harv Eker for this little tip.

Again, it probably won’t help with the really big stuff but it will help on the smaller little things that pop into your head like, “OH I gotta have that bag of chips” or “OMG look at the tight pants on that fine person…” or “I really want so slam on my brakes and teach that person a lesson!”

Use it when you can for at least 21 days and see what kind of new things you notice. Then come back here and share with us. Thank you!
