Having fun is taking pleasure from an experience or activity. Having fun usually serves no purpose other than enjoyment. It is a distracting yet necessary act.
Making friends is one of them. Once enjoyment is shared between two or more there is a connection formed. Its hard to explain but you feel it when you feel it and when you do it becomes real. Its also a sense of enjoyment from stress and pain or anger. Its definitely healthy too as they now are saying you have to smile at least everyday in order to live a healthy life.
This is a topic that is near and dear to the hearts of my readers, researchers, and website visitors. So much so that one of them were kind enough to share their own personal opinions. I don’t claim to be the best interviewer in the world, but I do promise some good, raw, and honest answers from normal people like you and me. I do my best to NOT filter these answers, except for the bad words and hateful speech.
With that little blurb out of the way, let’s dive right into the juicy bits of (potentially) life-changing insights.
Current Topic: Having Fun
‘R’ = Richard N. Stephenson (me!)
‘I’ = Interviewee (anonymous by request unless otherwise noted)
R: What are some of the biggest reasons you would ever look into this subject?
I: enjoy yourself, have a good time relief some stress that accumulated, clear your mind feel like a new person, and overall its a great experience when you are truly having fun
R: Assume the change from this subject is super-important, how could it help someone change their life?
I: Hiving fun could rid one of harmful stresses. Having fun could be as simple as walking through the park and enjoying the nature of scenery. Having fun can change one’s life because it adds to ones enjoyment even if there is no money spent on the venture.
R: Please tell me about your own experience with this topic and how it helped someone be better.
I: In my opinion, having fun could help someone be a better person because it could temporarily reduce their stress. Medical research has shown that stress has detrimental effects on the body. Secondly, laughing is shown to also be a stress reducer. Perhaps after having some fun, a person could “return” to their problems with a fresher, more objective perspective. Last but not least, someone who is “all work and no play” can actually be a less effective worker; therefore, many employers offer vacations to employees.
R: At the end of the day, who would you pick to be the best at doing what matters most regarding this topic?
I: Will Ferrell is someone who knows how to have fun and gets paid to do it. He seems like the kind of person who would have fun even if he didn’t get paid. He seems to be naturally funny and fun.
R: If you had to pick who’s the worst at this subject, who would it be?
I: The person who is worst at having fun is the person who always looks for the negative side of anything. How can you have fun if you’re always on the lookout for a reason you shouldn’t be having fun. These people should lighten up.
R: How could the average person plan to bring this topic into the stuff they do on a daily basis?
I: Having fun is one of the most meaningful parts of having a happy life. I would like to not work as hard in the future so that I could have a fun time hanging out with my friends and family doing simple fun activities like camping, hiking, and partying. I hope that I am able to have more fun in the future by making enough money so that I can afford to have fun and not take my entire schedule up with simply working.
R: How would you describe the best time to make this topic part of your life?
I: When I spend time taking care of myself by working out it is the best time to have fun. It is the perfect time for myself because being physically active to be healthy does not always sound appealing. It also does not always feel great so it is good to make working out and activity that you can have fun with in your life. If you can have fun busting your butt and being physically active then it makes you want to do more of it and continue on with it in your everyday life.
R: Are there any times when you think it is a bad idea to bring this topic into our lives?
I: when someone close to you passed away, at least for me coming for a kind of religious family it would be a disrespect to my mom and she would definitely get mad with me
R: Give us an example of a good place to bring this subject into daily life.
I: The best place to make having fun a part of your life is on the weekend with a loved one. Having fun is a part of life but should be supplemented with honest hard work. Daily lives involve more than just the week end, however. Therefore one who gets into a relationship of love can make having fun a part of their daily lives.
R: Where is a really bad place to start working on this topic?
I: The worst place to make having fun an active part of one’s life if when more important matter are at stake. For example, one would not fly to Las Vegas if the family is experiencing financial hardship. Having fun is when all of the important matters of life are taking care of.
R: Do you know of any people, organizations, or groups that could benefit from learning more about this topic?
I: Leah could have more help with having fun in her life. In a challenging job of teaching “at risk” second graders, she sometimes forgets that there is more to life than a high stress job. Weekends should be a time to unwind. She needs to remember that and put a little more emphasis on having fun when she’s not working.
R: Give us at least one major tip we can do something with for this topic?
I: Be you and be real. Do what really makes you feel something. Don’t hype it up just for the moment or for somebody else. But don’t risk everything for it though, draw a line and make sure you don’t cross it. hopefully that made a little sense.
R: Give the readers an example of the biggest pitfall for this topic.
I: Drinking and driving should always be avoided when having fun. It doesn’t end well for anybody. I had a bad experience in an accident due to a drunk driver. Luckily nobody was killed except my car.
R: Tell us of an example of when we can use this topic in our lives?
I: Do something you actually want to do rather than something you know you should be doing. For instance, say you need to cut the grass, but your friends want you to go to the beach. Go to the beach with your friends. The grass will still be there when you get back.
