Who’s permission are you waiting for? Are you waiting for your mom? Your second grade teacher? Your spouse? Your high school friend? Your neighbor? Your boss? Are you waiting for someone else to give you permission to do what you want to do? Now I’m not talking about breaking rules and being a bunghole, I’m talking about getting stuff done to achieve the goals and ultimate desires and passions that you want in life.

Who are you waiting on? Hopefully you said nobody. Because you don’t need anybody to give you permission, except for one person, you. You only need to realize that you have all the authority and power in the world to give yourself permission to do whatever the yeehaw bing bang you want to do. Period. Do you think the most successful, helpful, and value adding people in the world sit around and say, oh well I sure wish I could change the world, if only I had my city council’s approval to do this? No!
Anybody who’s anybody that made any kind of difference in society or neighbor in the country in the world, broke the mold, did stuff, without permission, maybe sought forgiveness later, or didn’t have to. Because the whole world saw at what awesomeness was done, and said yeah apparently this is good, thank you! The same is true for you. You’re no different than them. You’re a human being, you’re capable, you just haven’t given yourself permission.
Take the time now. Tell yourself, many times, right now and for twenty one days in a row, to tell yourself, I have permission to grow. I have permission to do the good in the world that I want to do. I have permission, I grant myself permission, I give myself permission to do what I need to do in the world, to achieve my goals and make this a better place.
Congratulations! Permission has now been bestowed upon you, but if you’re not going to do it for yourself, you know what? I give you permission to do what you need to do to grow and to be awesome. How about that, hmm? Congratulations again. Have a good day. And enjoy your new level of empowerment and authority.
