I don’t know why people don’t believe me when I say they need to do this, or they believe they will remember everything. If you can do that, that’s fine. I’m not that fortunate.
You have a ton of awesome ideas, and to do’s and good things running through your head all day long. If you don’t put that stuff down in some recordable fashion, you are eventually going to lose some of it. Maybe not all of it, but guaranteed the best stuff is going to float on out, and you’re going to wish you had it down somewhere.

There are many different ways to do it. You are going to find whatever works best for you I’m sure, but what works for me as the quickest and easiest way to get it done right away, which is key because you don’t want any type of resistance. You wanted to make it easy.
It’s just record it. You’ve got a smartphone, your company gave it to you for free or cheap, maybe you’ve got the big fancy ones that look ridiculous when you talk on them. If you’ve got an iphone, whatever you’ve probably got something built in. I have no idea. If you’ve got android, I highly recommend the app A.S.R. There’s a free version.
You can record straight to super duper high quality, however you want. WAV, MP4, all kinds of stuff. And you can even use those files in other places like podcasts and other things. But that’s not neither here, nor there.
But anyway, you can record yourself in all your glory, and simply listen to it later when you’ve got time. Set a reminder on your calendar every monday to write down your recordings.
