How To Make Your Blog Stand Out In A World Of Bleh

How not to be just another boring old blog in a sea of bleh. Now, first off I have to kind of confess that I’m still using a free template for my main website and some of my other websites too. But, I have an excuse. It’s because I have coding experience and I’ve gone back and extensively tweaked a whole bunch of stuff. No excuse, I know.

NOTE: I’ve since upgraded to the Genesis Framework and a premium template. :)

I shouldn’t be wasting my time on such little, itty bitty things and I am actively making a path to premium template to look real deal Holyfield but if you’re just using the most popular theme for your WordPress installation or whatever else, does anybody else anything else? I don’t know. Then it’s going to be tough for you to stand out and right now what’s needed is to stand out. With millions of blogs coming online new every year it’s really not much of an excuse.

Theme Forest, Google it because I can’t remember if it’s dot net or dot com. It’s one or the other, of course. Google it and you’ll find it but sometimes it’s cheap as under ten dollars you can find a pretty decent, decently rated, responsive, super fancy slider gallery, awesome sauce template that you can set it and forget it.

And just look like the real deal, you know? So, instead of buying a new video game, buying two new blue rays or a couple of weeks worth of premium coffee, watch some YouTube, play your old games and drink the drip at home. Instead, buy a nice theme for your blog and start looking non bleh and more yeah. I think this is a good place to stop.
