And there are a bunch of crazy methods that fall under that category that well I’m just not brave enough to try. However, there is one that’s called ‘the everyman’ and it kind of revolves around you getting somewhere between four and a half to five and half hours of sleep as your core main sleep at night. And then a twenty minute nap one or two times throughout the day. And that’s what I do.
And it’s gotten to the point that I won’t take the nap unless I feel I need it. And you know you need it when you’re forcing yourself to pay attention, you’re forcing yourself to get something done, you’re forcing yourself to care.
At that point it’s best just to get your kitchen timer put twenty minutes on it, hit start, lay down on the ground, bed, car whatever, use some sleeping right away methods that I’ve mentioned in another video to go to sleep right away. And as soon as that twenty minutes is up bada bing bada boom! You got that mini REM sleep, you’re refreshed, and your day is set.
As with all of these methods it does require some practice and some tools like having a meditation or getting a schedule down and getting used to the four and half five and a half hour sleep. But man once you free up a good chunk of your day to get more stuff down, now you’re going to have to work on your ability to focus on things because a couple extra hours a day is a lot. And you need something important and relevant to your goals to do. But that’s a quality problem to have.
So intelligently sleep less. Grow your brain and get your goals done because time is the only resource you never get back and can never have more of. But you can use what you have more wisely. Sleep well. Do well. Peace and stuff.
