How Does It Feel When Others Are Supportive Of Your Dreams?

How does it feel when others are supportive of your dreams? I saw this question on yahoo answers and I thought, “wow – it’s true!” There are a lot of people that probably don’t get stuff down, down, or are discouraged because they don’t have another support and motivation in their life, at least externally.

Now, I would argue that you really shouldn’t seek to get motivation and feedback externally or at least rely totally on it, because you really only are setting yourself up for disappointment because people are people; they’re humans. They themselves have a hard time staying motivated, and keeping up with the good and helping other people out. So relying on, you know, imperfect people, because nobody is perfect, is really only going to prove to be a problem at some point in time.

But besides that, it really does feel good and makes a world of difference when you are in a situation or relationship or working environment where your creativity, your actions, and your efforts, are supported, appreciated, and rewarded. If you are in any type of situation where you don’t have that luxury, then you probably need to do something about it. Now if it’s a relationship, of course, I’m not saying you just drop the ball and run.

That requires a lot more finesse, conversation, and patience. But if it is a job, or friends, or what not, that just don’t seem to be open to change and supporting you, then it’s probably time to drop them. Cause aint nobody got time for that.

So yes, it does feel good to have that support system set up, and surrounded by people that can help you out, and make sure you stay focused by providing some extra good feedback, but don’t rely totally on it; it’s not always going to be there. There is not much else to say. I hope you have some feedback, some support, and the motivation you need to get stuff done. If not, it might be time to do something about it. SO here’s your motivation to go do it!
