Seek help and be a Team Player! 8 heads and 16 hands are better than 1 and 2!

[This is Part # 5 of a 20 Part Series to Improve Your Strengths] — Take the Strengths TEST

Quote: “Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.” -Ryunosuke Satoro

Definition: “working with others for a common purpose or benefit”

You burn with an unquenchable desire to get stuff done, right?  The fire within is sometimes so strong and so powerful that no one else can be anywhere near you without knowing, deep down, that you are up to something great and nothing will stop you.

Do you know that this is sometimes too much for some people and they need a bit more help from you in order to make these feelings jive?  Having that inner drive and passion to realize your goals is essential for championing life.  We must remember that the word ‘life’ includes more than just ourselves.

Bringing other people into your dreams and vision is essential for success, enjoyment, and ultimate accomplishment.  You are doing what you do to ultimately bring the world into a better light, yes?  Then let the folks in, now – they want to be a part of your passion and energy!

Through just the right amount of being a powerful Team Player, you’ll multiply your efforts.  One person shows are great – but they’re not the most efficient way to do things.  Let’s get on to ways to improve your strengths when it comes to working as a team, shall we?

Pick and assign team members for your tough projects

Surely there is a bear of a project on your plate that has a pretty difficult part, right?  I know, I know, you’re a wiz at sales, marketing, copy-writing, finances, accounting, coding, photography, blogging, SEO, etc… but are you tip-top, ‘A’ number 1, 120% in ALL of them? *it’s okay to shake your head here*

No one is and we, at some point and time in our journey to awesome-hood, have to realize that we make MUCH better use of our time and efforts if we do what we do best, and resource-permitting, let the other stuff go to the other experts.

Pinpoint your biggest, most menacing task or project that you are working on right now.  Focus on 1 or 2 aspects of it that you’ve been procrastinating on or feel a little uneasy about – chances are, those are the ones you feel less confident in tackling.  Time to find some people to help out with those.
