I read a lot and have a ton of projects floating around in my head. It’s a challenge to sort through sometimes. Some days it seems like I’m just a bit overwhelmed and I don’t feel like doing anything.
Against my better judgment, I’ve been known to ram right through a project anyway. This sometimes leads to funky results. Check-mark checked, of course, but talk about pulling teeth!
What if there was a way to get into a frame of mind, where learning comes into focus? A method where you simply relax and become more aware for about 6 minutes? And what if afterwards you are ready to roll on your learning tasks?
The Learning State – A Frame of Mind
Being relaxed, calm, and more fully aware of your surroundings is a key to better learning. Forget the mess that might hinder your attempt to learn. Go through this easy exercise to get yourself in the right mindset for learning.
This video will give you a short intro on the Learning State. After a 15 second or so pause, you’ll get right into the exercise. I hope you enjoy it and will use it often.
Oh and when you’re working this exercise, make sure you setup some type of regular schedule to do it. This is one of those things that needs to be done for at least 21 days before it will stick as a really awesome habit. Just cue it up a few minutes before you go to bed every night and you’ll be good to do. Hey, consider setting up an alarm on your phone, too.
