When you are working for a company and selling things, it is best for everyone if you are kind to customers. I also believe that this extends to being kind to everyone. A happy customer means a happy business owner.
Make customers happy by making them your central focus. Be pleasant and willing to find out exactly what their needs are. Find out why they need the product or service that they are requesting. Sometimes there is a wide array of items like, mattresses for instance. You want to provide, size, feel, and pricing information for them. Make sure you fit the customers need and not your own and by that I mean commission. Personally, I have worked with elderly people on ambulance bill payments. I was willing to go the extra mile by contacting Medicare on their behalf because of my familiarity with the billing and coinsurance balance due. I also worked as a cashier which can be very tedious work. I learned that even though the line may be backed up, you have to handle each person individually. Don’t short change the person you are waiting on because of an angry look of the customers behind yours. Give your best to each individual person.
Making sure the customer has a quality experience every visit shows them we’re consistent.
