Not some formal, uneventful setting, but real-life situations. If we can get learn how to deal with angry, impatient, self-involved consumers, and teach those who have customer service jobs patience and ways to deal with anger, companies would be a little bit better off.

If you are working with a customer in person, make eye contact with them. Avoid conversing with other coworkers on irrelevant topics while you are working with a customer. If you are over the phone, it is good to know the customer’s name, and use it occasionally (but not too much)! This is based off of personal experience as a customer.
