You can use this to get to the people who need your product. You can also make sure that a product you are maybe creating is targeted at those people. It can also be used to improve business.

I would observe who is using their product. I would interview these people to find out how they found out about it. Next, I might research their social networks to see how news might get out to more people.

I would think that marketers would know more about this than anyone. They can help you figure our how to research target markets. Whether that is through demographics studies by looking at who is eating/shopping where, who is visiting websites, or by going through trashed receipts. You also could survey about what people like in certain markets as well.

I would observe who uses the product you’re working on. I might interview them about how they found out about it. I also might observe their social networks to see how information might disseminate about the product.
How would you describe the most dangerous thing about this subject?
When a company tries to find a target market they should be careful that they do not alienate existing customers for the sake of gaining new customers. Companies should not try bother existing customers with too many surveys to try to ensure there’s a new product is for their market. Stereo types are not an indicator of what a target market is.
Why do you feel this topic is important for ultimate success?
I would use my expertise including my education and personal experience with customers and clientele, I’d do surveys to get more information as to what the target markets are and what they’re expecting and I would also keep some sort of incentive to gain support and popularity to make it easier to gather information for researching.
Give us at least one major tip we can do something with for this topic?
In order to research target markets you have to be aggressive. By showing aggressiveness with control you can show the people around you how to do the same and this will increase efficiency. Efficiency is the second key to researching target markets, working quickly and effectively will help develop understanding better.
