I am not here to give you a lesson on religion or faith. Though, I’d certainly enjoy those conversations. These are commandments of positivity. The next three tips that I will go through with you are about turning your daily efforts into positive outlets for awesomeness.
When you have a set of principles that are unchangeable and unmovable, you begin to realize that no matter what happens to you, you’ve got a base to always count on. It’s the old “build your foundation on rock and not sand” or to “build your house out of bricks and not straw” principle. And it’ll help you guide yourself, even when you don’t want to do any work.
1. Be Full Of Confidence And Love For Yourself
Too often, people are their biggest critics themselves. They’ll put so much effort into telling themselves what they can’t get done and how incapable they are, that they are immediately and absolutely paralyzed.
You have to turn the tables around on that. You have to stop yourself in the middle of every negative thing you catch yourself saying and turn it into a non-emotionally charged statement of how you can do better the next time.
If you catch yourself jumping on the scale and saying, “Oh, my goodness, I’m so fat because I weigh 230 pounds.” Well, what you need to change that into is, “I weigh 230 pounds.” That’s it. You don’t need to attach the labels that judge who you are and how you live.
Stick to non-judgmental thinking and be more positive in every aspect of your life. Increase your love of yourself, and you can finally turn that around into loving others more. And the day will just be so much more positive. You’ll see.
2. Be Happy, Healthy And Free Of Sickness
You can do a quick Google search on anything related to positivity and the psychological aspects of the science behind it. Being happier in your life will help you not only change the way you experience everything that comes across your path, it’ll help you get a better vision of what you’re doing and how you’re sharing it with the world.
This, in turn, helps you to be more focused on health, good habits and the care of others. All of this works together to help you be less sick and to be more strong in the things that you do.
You’ll find that the most negative and depressed people in the world end up being some of the sicker and less healthy people, too. There is a time when you need to be aware of it.
3. Be Open To More Success In Your Life
I don’t completely understand why people want to do this. Sure, I’ve read the books and the psychology behind it, so I understand why it happens. But I don’t understand why it continues to happen.
What I’m talking about here is people succumbing to the fear of success. People will actually tell themselves they’re not worthy of more money, more free time, more freedom and more ability to do the things that they want to do.
Why is it? Maybe it’s because they grew up in a poor family and keep hearing what their parents told them back then. They keep running these scripts through their mind of “no, we’ve have to save money,” “no, we can’t afford that,” and “no, we can’t go there unless we set aside cash for three years in a row.”
All of that is no longer useful in your life. You know what you can afford and you know that you are more capable than you were back then. Things have changed. And chances are, you have already overcome the problems that were relevant back then. Start changing the negative script that’s running through your mind. And open yourself up to more success.
Be Upbeat And The Positivity Will Flow
Being positive every day, all day, can be easier when you keep the three commandments we just discussed close to your heart.
I’m not saying it’ll be the easiest thing in the world. But when you start off with a toolbox full of awesome tools that you can use as opposed to an empty toolbox, you will have an easier time. I want you to be more full of confidence and love for yourself. Be happy, healthy and free of sickness. And always be open to more success in your life.
These three simple things will magically transform your life. But it’s not a magic of the unknown, it’s a magic of your want, effort and motivation. You’re in control here. You can do it.
