Your strengths are little bits of information in you or characteristics of you that make you what you’re? They’re you at the end of the day. Now, they’re not your soul, and they’re not your identity but they’re pieces of you. They’re evidence of your internal ability and importance, or at least capabilities in life.
And why they’re so special about you is because they make you ,’You’. They pullout what you’re best at and they give you confidence and motivation to take your life to a whole new level. Let me give you to a little more detail on those.
They Make You, ‘You’
These are the things that your friends, your family, your coworkers, and people out there say, “Hey, you’re good at and I come to you for this type of advice. When I’m looking for information on this or help with this. You’re the go to person; you’re able to help.”
And these are things that you probably enjoy doing, if everyone knows this you’re willing to share it and help people out with that. So, you would say that these things are related to your identity and the way you work and live your life.
They Pullout What You’re Best At
This is building right off of point number one. And that they really do describe the things that you’re best at, that you’re most interested in, that you’re most passionate about, that you probably could say are part of your purpose in life. And what you’re designed here from God to do.
They Give You Confidence & Motivation
Now, if you’re able to start figuring out what your strengths are and how to use them and apply them in your life… then yeah, you’re gonna have more success with your strengths. And with success comes confidence, and with confidence comes the motivation to keep getting more of it. And with that motivation you can keep going forward.
It’s like a flywheel and I guess not too many people have dealt with the flywheel before. So, it’s probably not a great example, let me move into another example. If you ever had to push a car – that’s probably a little bit more popular or familiar – but man that first five minutes before the car is moving just to get it going and physics is the static coefficient of friction type thing.
It’s that force that’s required to get it moving. That part is hard. But man, when the thing is in neutral and gets on starting to roll, it just keeps on going, you can take your hands off and just push it with a couple of fingers.
And that’s what is about motivation and confidence. Once you get going, it’s just a matter of keeping that momentum.
