The individual’s ability to work with others. In the world we are often subjected to such scenarios, and it is important to be adaptable to this in a sense. Even when we go out to the grocery store, we are expected on some level to participate with or respect those around us. Perhaps it is about cultivating such skills with other people and methods for doing that.
People are everywhere. They are in some way, a part of every job that we do. Whether we do a job for ourselves (which could affect our own moods and thereby those around us), or someone else, it never just stops there. Working well with others doesn’t have to just be on a professional level, either! I have some family I sometimes find it difficult to be around, but have learned to cope with this and develop specific skills for being able to still cooperate and be a part of activities with them. This could be applied to different scenarios as well.
Everyone learns differently, reacts differently, etc. We live in a varied society with varied people. It is important I believe to learn tolerance first and foremost. One does not have to agree with someone to be able to work as a unit with them, if necessary. Remind yourself of the bigger goal if you find yourself struggling, because often there is motivation for all parties involved in that. Overcoming the obstacle of difficult people, or just overcoming your own anxiety can be its own reward. An open mind is a valuable tool.
