This topic is about time management: how to effectively use your time to achieve what you need to. It includes things like categorization of important activities versus less important time sinks. It could also include strategies about dealing with other people in work or other environments to help deal with procrastinators.
Someone can list out the activities that they spend time on and rank them in terms of importance. It’s very important to go to work, but less important to watch TV for a few hours every night. They might find that they’re wasting time and not even enjoying it. Someone could also invest in a planner to help them stay organized, or get a friend to help them stay accountable (study buddies, etc).
I suggest writing down how much time is spent doing what over the course of a few days. That will allow you to see what you’re doing and where your time is going. Then, you can follow the “importance first” procedure to decide if something is important to you or not, and then you can look at how much time you spend in a day on that activity. Then, you can try and limit the activities that are unimportant and focus more on the important activities.
