Taking tests usually involves doing a task that another person grades you on to see if you know the task well. A test can be a physical task. It can be a written task. It can be a reading comprehension or mathematics task. It can be almost anything.
There are tests you can take in order to get certain jobs. There are sometimes tests you can take in order to excel in a current job. Passing college classes and graduating involves taking and passing a series of tests. Graduating college can then result in a better career.
You can perform better on most tests if you study. You might be able to finish the test faster if you study. Some tests can be take more than once. Others can only be take one time. It is important to find that out before you take the test.

Taking Tests
- At school there is this one girl who always has some kind of excuse (headache, bad night sleep etc.) not to do anything we are told to do. For example, if we have to replace the furniture or clean things up a bit, she ALWAYS just sit on the sofa and complains about her feeling sick or something. We then leave her be and let her deal with the consequences of her laziness. We let the teacher deal with her. This doesn’t sound that dig of a deal but over time these things start to really piss me off!
- Figuring out what I like is been very frustrating for me. The only thing left to do is trial and error which takes too much time. For example: how do I figure out what kind of musical instrument I want to play? Well, I would need to know how to play them all in order to choose one to stick with for the rest of my life: to specialize in. This is just an example, I have this problem with a lot of other things. This is quite personal and may not apply to others.
- Having to take it all in that when I go to school next week I have so much work to do and try my best at the practice I’m having for my core classes for the state test that is coming up and focusing on softball and improving with my team so we can beat our rivalry and go to districts. This is frustrating for me because its just so much that I have to do and its just beginning
- Having to take my driving exam multiple times because of bad luck combined with my lack of experience driving. Frustrating because I know I can drive better than most people (that I see making stupid decisions in traffic) and yet I have to struggle with the driving exam a lot more than “luckier” people who didn’t face that difficult of a situation during their driving exam as I did.
- I found out that I failed my L.A. exam, as with everybody else. I found this very frustrating as I don’t usually fail exams and I put in full effort on the exam. I feel as though this was an error on the instructors part as the test was 70 to 80 multiple choice
- I had huge test that determine what type of class I get next year it was frustrating because it was 4 hours of testin a day for 4 days I think I did well but it was challenging and my whole next year for classes is on this one huge assessment!
- I needed to prepare for a test and could not get information from the internet to give me an idea of what I have to do. This was frustrating because I am not really familiar with the subject matter I needed something to put me in the right line of action.
- Organize notes for an exam. I’d rather be out and talking to people or debating about the concepts that we’ve just learned instead of putting everything together and reading over it half a dozen times. If there were a way to apply it instead of having the same general arguments about the topic it would be much more enjoyable.
- The most frustrating event that occurred in the past few days was when the actions of my fellow classmates aggravated my Economics instructor which, in consequence issued us a big test on externalities. This was frustrating because one person’s actions caused the whole class to suffer and that seems unfair, but I’m flexible and I can understand the instructor’s viewpoint on the matter.
- The most frustrating thing I’ve had to do in the past few days is write a midterm. I studied very hard for this midterm and don’t feel good about how the test went. This is frustrating because I put a lot of effort into it and feel like I didn’t get good results.
- The most frustrating thing that I’ve done in my past is when I failed to pass in one of the school that I have exam with. In which I expect that I will passed in that school. Because my classmates who have taken also the exam there, which I know in myself that I am smarter than them get the chance to pass and go to that school.
