Studying is preparing for a test or something else in your life. You usually get introduced to it in school. It helps to have notes, books or other materials to use.
Someone could definitely use studying to improve many aspects of their life because it prepares you for things. Studying for that big test will help you get a better grade. You can study or prepare for job interviews as well and that could help you land the job.
My advice where studying is concerned is to do it but not too much. It’s possible to feel burned out if you study too much. You can get tired or overwhelmed by it. That will actually harm your performance.

- The most frustrating thing I’ve done in the past few days is get all homework and academic work done under a short time period and I have to pass by Thursday. Also, studying to do well is very frustrating.
- Losing time so fast and can’t just concentrate to prepare for my upcoming exams and interviews. Getting into a new hectic week and wondering if I will be able to fins time to concentrate on studying
- At school. Taking my exams, or studying for them. It’s always hard to find a quiet alone place to peacefully study and get away from everyone. Then it’s even more stressful and frustrating when I get my test score and I’ve made a bad grade even though in study and got the material straight in my head and memorized all that I had to.
- Being motivated to study and concentrate in lectures was probably the most frustrating y thing for me this week because I have a very short attention span. When I sit in class and listen to the lecturer I switch off after about 15 minutes. I really want to improve my attention span and organisation skills.
- Hmmm, last months my life seems to get better after a hard period, so I cannot recall something too frustrating… Maybe that, I decided to register for a Master program after my college graduation and when the time came I had to study again for the exams… but it wasnt that bad in the end
- I am study constantly all day and all night. I have little time to be personal and know those around me so I feel like a total stranger with my classmates. I love what I am going into though so I feel in the long run that it is worth it.
- I keep getting a C in chemistry. I know it has a lot to do with math, and I am very good at math, but when ever I have to use math in chemistry, everything goes downhill. I want to study more, but it gets so frustrating, and I end up giving up on studying.
- I study industrial economics, and in one of my courses, there’s comprehensive lab time that needs to be finished and cleared by the student assistant’s to pass the course. All of my friends and I find the lab practices extremely non-relevant for our education, and also way above our level. This is frustrating.
- I’m a high school student and I think the most frustrating thing that i’ve had to do lately is study so much because I feel in the end it is pointless as mugging up text from books only for the purpose of taking exams doesn’t really add to your knowledge and instead only pressurises and stresses the student out. I feel schools should promote practical based learning through innovative activities, projects, excursions etc. In this way, students not only develop knowledge and skills, but also character and life experience.
- Is the feeling of being inadequate. I always study hard for tests and things but then don’t get the results on the paper. I feel like I don’t know how to be better is this is the most frustrating. I strive for excellence and up until I’ve gone to university I have been excellent so I am confused. I want to be a doctor as well so this is an added pressure which makes everything more frustrating.
- Last Friday, I arrived at the university at 8.30 am. I need to print the lesson which class started at 9 am. but the paper did not come out of the printer. Until 9.30 am, I decided to go to the class without the paper. That means I took class late with no paper. This really frustrate me! because I am a person who hate to be late and study in the class with no lesson’s papers.
- My most frustrating thing this week was missing my alarm, which caused me to miss an exam which I had spent the entire weekend studying for. This was frustrating because I rarely miss my alarm, and feel like I wasted time studying for a test I did not take, and will have to spend this time again in a few months when I will have another chance to take the exam.
- Preparing for my physiology exam. I usually stress before exams but with this one I had more than ample time to prepare and I was left a bit confused because I didn’t know what else to study yet I knew that I didn’t cover everything. the environment I took the exam in was just another frustrating thing but I enjoyed the exam in the end.
- The most frustrating thing I’ve ever done was to take a hard exam that had 170 multiple choice questions and had to write 6 paragraphs on the ORQ and it was before Christmas break so I only had a few days to study for that exam. the reason why the exam was so frustrating because I also had more exams I had to study for and if I get least 3s or 2s on my exams then they would bring my grades up.
- The most frustrating thing ive had to deal with the past few days is trying to figure out where my life is taking me. I want an education and to go to school but it just doesnt seem right for me. I love to learn and find out new things but cant muster the motivation to study or do well. I don’t have a goal set inmy mind of what I want in the future and where I want to end up.
- The most frustrating thing of the past weeks was all the stress for my exams. I love the study material I have to read, but hate the fact that it all has to be done in a short time. I want to decide my own progress! Most important questions in my mind are questions about reasons why people do things. What moves them? And questions about how things get to exist (think about the evolution).
- To manage the idea that Im not going to study abroad next year. It was frustraiting because it was part my fault, in order that I don’t actually have the marks needed, but it was also fault of the International departmente for its incapability to manage things and its lack of information.
