Preparing for exams can be divided into two main categories. The first is being comfortable with the material being tested. The second is building comfort with the concept of taking an exam.
The best way to prepare for exams is to take practice exams. Many times teachers or professors will provide sample exams from previous years. Use these as a guide to what kind of questions will be asked. Chances are your score on the actual exam will be similar to the sample. Studies have shown that cramming for exams is ineffective for learning. Never depend on rote memory, rely on your own understanding of concepts instead.
It would be worth your time to look into the Feynman method of learning. The way we approach learning affects how much information we will retain. For almost any realm of knowledge, understanding the base concepts behind a subject is the most efficient and sustainable approach.

Preparing for Exams
- An exam at school, it could possibly make or break my grade
- An exam. it was frustrating because i had limited time to study
- Taking exams. a lot of work and not a lot of time.
- When my exams are near and my revisions are not completed then i am frustrated.
