Leadership relates to how well someone can lead others by being unique and creative. Also by persevering with their own unique ideas in an assertive, confident fashion. Leadership is not deterring from what you find meaningful.
Someone could improve their career by being more confident with their ideas and consequently sharing them more and having chances of being noticed or promoted. In relationships is an ideal time to be assertive and confident.
I think a good leader is someone who is not afraid to be themselves. They let their inner self shine. They don’t always have it their goal to lead, they just lead inevitably by default.

The following list are uncut and raw responses of the things this group found most frustrating in their daily lives.
Leadership
- Dismissing one of my girls that I am in charge of from the internship I am at. She disrespected me and all of the leadership around me and I hate that the most. She also would always lie to me and those around me, and hypocrisy is another thing I hate the most.
- I am in the military. The military teaches leaders (Non-Commisoned Officers) to provide three things to the soldiers they are in charge of. Purpose, direction and motivation, all three are lacking in todays military. It frustrates me on a weekly basis, provide me with a clear direction and I will make it happen.
- I had to facilitate something that would be carried out by some people, and they dropped the ball and showed a lack of responsibility. I did too, because I gave them too much freedom and not enough correction. Now I have to spend more time fixing the project because it wasn’t done well the first time.
- I had to help unload a semi trailer at our cabin in Central AK. I was asked to help chain the things on the trailer up so we could unload them with our excavator. Then everyone started to do it instead of me and I had nothing to do. It made me very angry
- I hate having to deal with people who shouldn’t be in the role they have been given just because they bothered putting their hand up and have no qualifications… or have them and are just being stupid, and I hate the lack of communication abilities from staff members, colleagues and customers. They are all so stupid.
- I lead a small group of 5 high schoolers where we meet once a week to talk about the Bible and how it applies to our lives. It is frustrating because some of the guys come every week and some don’t. When they do come it is tough to get their attention because they are on the phone a lot of the time. It is also frustrating in trying to get them to take life seriously and grow up. They are all great guys and I have enjoyed leading them but it is definitely not easy.
- Most frustrating thing was dealing with employee performance management issues. It is a combination of ability and willingness. This team has the skills, has had training for some new tasks, and should be able to do what they need to do. Most are willing to learn and have a good attitude, but this week one person on the team seems to be dragging down the others. Frustrating because 1) they should all know what to do 2) should leave the drama at home 3) they have the potential to be superstars, but just aren’t performing like it this week Business would be EASY if it weren’t for the customers and employees. :-)
- One thing that frustrates me the most is lack of planning and or preparation. I was traveling with a large group of people and it was difficult because many of them could not come up with or execute any sort of plan when it came time to get something done. I usually find myself either having to walk away or take over in order to avoid letting my frustration be taken out on those around me.
- The frustration comes from poor communication between myself and the management team in London. Trying to make things right, so it’s fair and profitable for my team and the business but simply being ignored or told no. It also comes from the lack of ethics in the company and they way myself, colleagues & merchants are viewed, perceived and treat by others (mostly at the top) in the business.
- The Most frustrating thing I have to do is ensuring my department was adequately staffed. This was frustrating because I was not allowed to fill vacancies because my productivity formulas were calculated incorrectly. This made it appear the department was in the red on productivity, when in actuality, it was not.
- The most frustrating thing I’ve had to do recently is having to educate my superiors in their responsibilities when it comes to my current situation. It’s frustrating because my case is not a unique case and the procedures are well documented; despite that, their current misunderstanding is slowing down the progress of a time critical project.
- The most frustrating thing I’ve had to do the last few days was a group project. It was very difficult to get all the team members on the same page. That being said once we all got together we were able to rock out our project, it’s something that we are all very proud of.
- The most frustrating thing that I had to do in the past was to help my cousin move and shift into a new home. He took no leadership, forcing me to take it upon myself and guiding him an the others helping in the move to get things done. Being the main man that he should have been, he did not take up the responsibility, and to me that does not look good at all. It was a complete waste of my time and the others, and because I am gentle hearted, I took it upon myself to help him with the move all day, and due to that fact I was not able to complete and finish my own task, which was a test I had due at midnight on time. The result of that, I had received an F.
- The team lists for a tournament being played in by my sports club were released. In the opinions of some of my team mates and myself the lists were wrong however the captains are so stubborn and egotistical that the teams will not be changed. It is frustrating to be forced to sit back and allow this to happen.
