Hard Work and Getting Ahead is a way describing the process of people who use self-motivation and perseverance to further their position in life. Generally considered the opposite of “sheer luck”, a person who does this usually will climb social and professional ladders quickly. This can also be considered an essential component of the traditional “American Dream”, where hard work leads to betterment in life.
Hard Work can be thing that leads to your next promotion, or your next raise. Employers do not want to employ someone who chooses to work as little as possible or avoid work at all costs, they want someone who will push themselves in hopes of a reward. Also, hard work will lead to other benefits in life. A raise as the result of hard work will lead to greater savings, which can lead things such as the ability to purchase a home or a decent car.
In all different areas of life, I advise you to apply the principles of hard work and getting ahead. This will you help you not only land a better job, but also to realize your dreams more quickly and fully. People tend to like those who apply themselves, and hard workers are a great example of this. If you are doing something you love and/or something that benefits you, hard work will only improve your life.
