This topic can apply to many different things, but on the whole, to me it means taking something that is dirty or out of order and washing it or putting everything back in its place. For example, a house may have dirt on the floor. In order to clean it, you would sweep or vacuum the floor and / or mop the floor. This would eliminate the dirt and the floor would be clean! You can also “clean up” yourself. If you haven’t taken a shower in a while and you’ve been doing a lot of physical activity, you probably don’t smell very good. You hop in the shower, wash your hair with shampoo, wash your face and body with soap and rinse off. You then exit the shower and dry yourself with a towel. This is also considered “cleaning up.
A clean house can often contribute to an orderly lifestyle. Taking time one day a week to clean up your house will allow you to find things more easily, always have clean clothes to wear and be able to focus on your job during the week since you won’t have to worry about a messy house.
If you only have a few minutes to clean up, I would recommend putting away any shoes or coats that are left out, vacuuming and throwing away clutter (old newspapers, mail, etc.) A clean floor makes a big difference in the appearance of a house and it also cuts back on dirt, dust and allergens!

Cleaning
- Clean up the mess I made in my room. It was frustrating because I had been putting it off for so long and just had so busy that I really did not have time so it kept getting worse everyday with piles of clothes everywhere. It also is frustrating because usually the state of my room is a reflection of what is going on inside my head and I have felt so overwhelmed these days!
- Cleaning the apartment because I am usually organized and never let the apt to be messy but the past week has been pretty busy for me so I had no time to clean an organized everything. It’s frusting because I want every part of my life to be organized in order for me to feel optimal.
- Having to see a messy place and knowing I couldn’ t do anything about it as I had no time to clean it. I went to my mom’s place and found that she was not there, I had the keys so I opened and boom! Everything was a mess. I got so frustrated I even tried to smile so I can release some of the tension I felt. I only spent 5 minutes there and then I left…without what I wanted.
- I find tidying up my bedroom then someone making it a mess again very frustrating. And people leaving dishes and cups about the house and not putting them in the dishwasher. My sister uses my clothes or hair bobles and thinks it’s alright not to ask but when I want to lend something it’s a different story.
- I had to do so many chores at once. It was fustrating becauise my siblings didnt want to help and when im doing one chore my mum tells me to do another, so I never complete the first chore because she wants me to do another. But I ended up completing my chores
- I honestly don’t like cleaning I clean once a week because cleaning gets on my nerves I hate washing the dishes but I am a very neat and organised person that is why I only clean once a week because I don’t make a mess when I am around the house
- I needed to tidy my room and I was frustrated on how to do start tidying up. Then I just thought I can organise the clothes in whats what then see whats dirty and whats not put it all away tidy up some more and hover. I still have clothes that need putting away but its tidy and I found out it was easier than I thought.
- My room mate had company over who cooked dinner and baked desert and after they left she didn’t clean up. The kitchen was a disaster and most of our dishes were dirty. This frustrates me because I like for things to be clean and orderly and I also don’t understand how someone can just walk away from making a mess and not clean it up.
- The most frustrating thing I had to do in the past few days was organize myself. my car and my room is very cluttered to find things in there is a nightmare and to have to sit there to organize it is time consuming. I would rather hire someone to do it for me but I do not trust that they would care for my stuff as those it was their own nor do I believe that they would be faithful to me.
- The most frustrating thing I have had to do in the past few days has been cleaning my room. My room was a mess and figuring out how to organize stuff and where to put things where my mom won’t yell at me was quite a struggle because there’s not much space in my room but so much that I want to keep.
