Simply put, bosses and management. Bosses are the people who are in charge of management and the people who need to make sure everything is running smoothly. Without bosses and management, things wouldn’t be as productive because there wouldn’t be an organized work group.
Well as a boss, you are able to get paid more since you’re higher in status within the company or wherever you work for which will help improve your personal life. People always say money doesn’t buy happiness, but I believe it provides it. Money makes everything easier and with a boss status within a company you are able to obtain that kind of money.
Bosses and management are the areas that most people would like to be in. Nobody wants to always work within a company and work under a boss. There’s that time in your life when you need to step up and become the leader.

Bosses and Management
- Managers who do not manage in the proper ways that will best benefit our business.
- My manager is two faced and expects everyone to support him.
- My manager asked me to ‘clean an issue’ not started by me. This does not inspire me for growth.
- My manager gave me a task with little information and little time to complete it. I gathered my notes and helpful resources and completed it as much as i could.
- The manager I replaced never did performance management with staff members.
- The manager is very strict. I’m doing the same thing everyday. I don’t like sitting all day.
- Cousel a manager over dealing with an employee without losing my temper, he has made me do extra work when he ccoould have had me included from the start

- Trying to get my managers on board in dealing with staff who are stealing time, spreading gossip, bullying others.
- Working on senior managers stupid idea which is bound to fail. I have already faced similar situation and manager is not ready to accept proven solution.
- A meeting with my manager when she asked if I wanted to do a new role with no detail on the position or feedback on my performance. I’ve had a total lack of direction in the last year so no idea how I have performed which is frustrating!
- Having had several managers and having to prove oneself each time reporting line changes.
- Explain to my line manager why is was inappropriate to disclose my personal information in a meeting and discover she just didn’t get it
- Working with a new manager who came to cover for one month. He came in and changed everything just for the month which unsettled a lot of people.

- When I notice that my manager is too busy with a lot of work which result in postponing some one on one meetings at times where his input is required to proceed with the particular task.
- Dealing with the office manager at my work. She has been honing in on me and jumping down my throat for everything.
- Disagree with my direct manager. The problem here is that he does not keep to company policy and procedure, then I need to try and overrule his promises as they do not comply with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Defend myself against my manager who suggested a development area but I thought I was above average competency at. It’s hard to defend and explain yourself and your abilities when someone has a different perception.
- Work:- The fact that the manager/senior management do not recognize the abilities that one has and they do not listen to what has said because the person that is working on the system or piece of work has more knowledge than the management who has not worked on it.
- Explaining processes to a manager who is supposed to be my superior. But does not want to want to ask for help even under uncertainty. I want him to be open and honest to me, not just be a manager, but a leader
- Work with a demanding micro manager who does not meet deadlines. Because I believe all rules and deadlines are meant for all.
- Busting my ass with a slacking manager. It was frustrating because she wanted to take her time with things while forcing me to take up everything else and then yell at me when I took a second to work on something different even with plenty of time to finish things
- I was really frustrated with my manager last week, but instead of communicating my feelings to her, I took other actions assuming only what I know without getting her perspective. I was surprised at how badly I handled that situation letting my emotions cloud my head.
- Doing technical support work as a manager, want to be more involved with management tasks but my superior expects me to do technical support
- Not best the $@ out of my house manager cuz she wouldn’t let me go home when I had my flight booked n all
- I am not challenged enough and my manager does not appreciate when I do good work but is quick to point out when I miss his goals but exceed company goals.
- Working with a non goal orientated manager. She is extremely hard to work for when she does not complete her tasks calls in all the time and expects everyone else to give 150%.
- Try to make understand to the hire manager of a company in an interview. Why I was lay off of my previously company, after too many years working for them. Why they didn’t try to keep me working for them. When I know was a company decision.
- I can not communicate with my current manager making things more difficult making it harder to perform correctly.
- Sometimes trying to communicate with my manager can be frustrating. We are on completely different communication levels,
- Dealing with my new boss that is a micromanager. It is frustrating because she does not listen, she has taken away all autonomy and focuses only on HER end goals not those of all involved.
- Motivate my colleagues to meet with the Managers to set the ground rules for our new project. They are in charge of this project and seem to be confused on how to create a good plan on how to proceed.
- Completing a report for a meeting and the managers keep on adding and taking things out of the report
- Work on something for hours and then have a manager change his or her mind on what their vision was.
- I have a new & very challenging task from my Manager & i’m trying my best to ballance my time to do all of the things i need to do & deliver what is required in all of them.
- Having to re-explain concepts at work because managers don’t understand the project that they’re working on
- Re-doing projects because the boss is a micro-manager. It is frustrating as it is a waste of time and disrespectful of worker’s skills
- I feel like I have no authority at work. I am a manager however none of the people respect me. I look to my manager for help and advice, though she offers none.
- Adjusting to change at work. Because we had a great manager team and they blew it up and brought in new managers. The manager above me, he and I do not work well with one another.
- I couldn’t start the schedules on time at work as my manager hadn’t done his part. Everyone will think its my fault they’re late.
- Do the work of several others because of attrition and managerial indifference.
- I had to find someone to take my shift at work because my manager scheduled me again even though I requested off.
- It’s repetitive and co-workers lack responsibilities. The manager doesn’t say anything or do anything about it and it’s very frustrating when i stay late after hrs to clean up everyone’s mess.
- The most frustrating would be at work. Scheduling a meeting with my Manager to discuss my current role, how it does not seem to be a fit, and asking about other opportunities within the company.
- I have to do advance analysis on data that is incorrect but still my manager wants to present something so I am at it for days
- Trying to explain the background for a simple problem (rationale) when my manager is too detail oriented to get it
- It would have to be, deciding to be a if I want to be a construction project manager in Costa Rica with little to no experience.
- Having so many restrictions on what I can do because of red tape and needing to stroke managers egos in order to get things done
- I think the most frustrating thing about my job is micro management. I don’t like how my manager sits on the computer program and monitors what we are doing at the front desk.

- I was made to live in water shortage….. I was frustrated because i knew the reason was someone’s incompetence (water manager of the society) and couldn’t ignore the fact that it was for no fault of mine.

- I dislike micro-management in the workforce. I would like to find to find better ways of handling and managing the stresses of micro-managers.
- Seeing a fellow student benefiting through a professor’s connections with the business world. My professor handed his CV over to a top manager to with a recommendation. It was frustrating for me because my fellow student and I are both aspiring to pursue our career in a similiar way.
- Sometimes I feel that my job creates over expectations on others (my clients), like if my mision was to save the world. I am just a design manager!
